Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2851. Letter, 13 November 1896, of Robert B. Moore, Bowen, Kentucky, to Frank Powers, Grayson, Kentucky. Moore, a lumber dealer, reports an increase in business. He also describes himself as a “sound money” man who voted for William McKinley in the recent presidential election. Despite anticipating a “hot time,” he reports finding no disturbances at his local polling place.
