The situation within the American community cannot be isolated from broader world trends where national ethnic movements constantly raise political, ideological, and social policy questions .Sometimes questions concerning the meaning of ethnicity are at the very center of attention for all nationality groups within th estate . A case in point is Yugoslavia, with its major groups of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. In addition to these nationalities there are minority groups of Albanians, Hungarians, Romanians ,and others.
