This research explored the preferences and priorities of women selecting an anonymous sperm donor in order to start a family; it focused exclusively on the preferences of the non-genetically related parent in families headed by a two-woman couple. The study explored participants' views about the importance of 19 categories commonly used by cryobanks to classify sperm donors as well as the participants' rationale for their specific preferences. This study examined school based mental health workers' pre and post-graduate training around working with LGBTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex) youth. This qualitative, exploratory study aimed to explore the gaps and barriers in existing training for those working with LGBTQI youth in schools and discuss the possible outcomes for creating change in historically heterosexist, homophobic, and transphobic learning environments where professionals are trained and where young people come learn. This study explored the following question: How do parents adjust to the disclosure of their child's lesbian, gay, or bisexual identity? The purpose of this study was to focus on the parent of a LGB child in order to understand their reactions to their child's sexuality, their process of adjusting to their child's LGB identity, and to determine the impact it may have on the parents' relationship with their child.
