The purpose of this study was to identify the roles and responsibilities of chief unit administrators within multiunit community college districts. In addition, the study also included data about the perceptions chief unit administrators had toward their roles and their relationships with other unit administrators and central office administrators;The sample consisted of nine chief unit administrators in three multiunit community college districts located in Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska. The purpose of this research was to investigate whether differences in teaching effectiveness exist between full-time and part-time community college instructors in specific educational disciplines. The study examined faculty representing a number of teaching fields. Past research investigated the quality of instruction of part-time faculty and full-time faculty but did not investigate the possible differences in quality within the two groups;Student evaluations of instructors at one community college provided a measure of teaching effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the legislative evolution of the technical community college system in Nebraska. Historical inquiry was combined with Campbell et al.'s conceptual framework of the public policy-making process (social forces, antecedents, legislative action, and formal enactment). The purpose of this study was to identify the priority goal rankings at four selected community colleges in the North Central Accreditation Region by 42 administrators, 185 full-time faculty, and 548 full-time students.
