This project entailed the selection, background research and documentation, casting, direction, and post-production analysis of Castle Park High School's production of Jose Rivera's Maricela de la Luz Lights the World. Documentation includes research and analysis of the play, and an evaluation of the play as a production vehicle for the drama department of Castle Park High School. The analysis also includes a discussion as to the non-traditional directorial vision of this production.

The production thesis documentation includes research and analysis on the play and its historical origins, evaluation of the play as a production vehicle, and a discussion of the directorial vision for this production.

Documentation includes research of the Biblical setting, characters, past productions, and the structure of the play. A discussion as to the directorial vision and analysis in accordance with the Graduate Theatre Arts Program at Central Washington University is also included.
